Seems Like Two Trees

Doing colour exercises, I drew a batch of irregular geometric shapes; gathered together they looked like two trees.

I made the two trees in acrylic, scanned them into Photoshop, then tried different effects and palettes frame by frame, finally arranging them into an animation.

What I care more about is the subtle difference between colour pairings — they nudge me, bit by bit, to see the different expressions of the same shape.
